neversummer187 asked:
I have done a reverse number search on my home phone number one three sites, on all three there is someone elses name for my phone and address along with mine. Is this something I should be worried about?
I have lived at the address and had this phone number for 15 years. This was a house built from the ground, not possible someone lived here first or ever had that number.

If you haven’t had the number long it might be whoever had it before you.
No. Those reverse directories online aren’t official and are not put out by the phone companies. There are true reverse directories that you can see, I think at the library is one place. And some businessess have them as well.
you’re lucky no one knows who really lives there
You might want to check with your phone company. Whitepages.com is a reliable website. Do a reverse search there and see what happens. Sometimes these reverse search engines also have old information on them… Are you listing your area code as well when you do a reverse search?
no, I had that too. the phone co has not updated there database…I’ve called them up about it, and they explained how everything worked.
How long have you had your number? If it is recent, the other name may have been the person who had it previously. With the shortage of numbers, they are getting reassigned much sooner. There could also be a printed mistake. But your number only belongs to you and if someone dials the number it will only ring at your location.
