Brad asked:

I have a VoIP phone service at home, and I thought somebody had told me that if you do a reverse phone number lookup on a phone number provided by a VoIP company, it can only be traced back to the VoIP company, not to the individual customer. Is this true?

VOIP Numbers…. wow never seen that one before – good question!

If you’re talking about Skype-In numbers which “real phones” can actually ring, then I guess you would need to look at a reverse cell phone lookup tool such as that on

Reverse Cell Phone Searcher works extremely well for cell phones and unlisted numbers however I am at a loss for whether it will work for VOIP numbers. I guess the best advice I can give is to head over to, type the number and hit the search button.

If the search is successful – you will have instant access to name, address, contact details and even household members!

Hope your search is successful!
